| Hello all! I am headed to Chicago today to photograph 3 amazing couples! Tomorrow I'm photographing the beautiful Adriana & Sean's wedding and Saturday I'll shoot e-sessions of Tonray & Bob and Bill & Elise. It's going to be a great trip! Baby Addison

| Just 4-weeks old and bringing so much joy to this world already!
When I first got the the call for this shoot I was of course very excited about it, but when I found out that I would be able to WALK exactly one block down from my house, I was even more thrilled because not only did I get to photograph the cutest little girl, but I also got to meet our neighbors! :) Sweet Addison was a joy to photograph and I just can't wait to get to know her and watch her grow! I knew it would be a great shoot when this was the first photo I took. :) |

Amanda & Carl
July 28, 2008 Weddings
| The day couldn't have been more perfect...
This weekend Amanda & Carl's wedding went off without a hitch at Edinburgh USA, just north of Minneapolis, MN. It was a dream to photograph with perfect weather that brought the bluest of all skies; a wedding party whose laughter was contagious; and of course a beautiful couple who were smiling the entire day and so clearly a perfect match. Not a detail was missed - from the large margarita centerpieces for the Jimmy Buffet theme (which was awesome by the way:)) to the passed-down blue garter that Amanda's mom gave her to wear. Like I said, it was perfect! This was the 2nd wedding of the family's that I photographed and I couldn't have been happier working with them again! Amanda and Carl - thank you so much for sharing your day with me. It was a complete joy to be your photographer! Have a fabulous time in Mexico!! |

Getting Ready!
July 21, 2008 Engagements
| First of all, I must apologize for my lack of posts lately! This is officially the "calm before the storm" and gearing up for the many weddings to come has me focused on schedules, gear maintenance and to be honest, taking deep, relaxed breaths while I can! :) I am EXTREMELY excited about photographing all of the amazing weddings I have packed into July through October and I'm already looking forward to sharing them with you!
(SIDE NOTE: The wedding season is always very interesting and the popular wedding dates are constantly changing. For instance, last year I was booked solid in the spring and fall with weddings mainly in MN and now this year the end of summer and early fall are jammed packed with weddings both in Minneapolis, Chicago and Michigan.) To celebrate the full-on wedding season kick-off, this weekend Eric and I snuck away up north for a bit of "relaxation". We ended up taking full advantage of the sun and calm waters and water skied until we just couldn't ski anymore. Needless to say, we are both feeling it today...but it was so worth it! On another note, I just finished up Kate & Tim's engagement slideshow and thought I'd share it with you all. Some of my clients have been asking what exactly the engagement slideshow is, so here's a little sample! Enjoy! :) |

Karel Magne has arrived!
July 15, 2008 Portraits
| Just a few days ago my roommate from college and her husband welcomed their new little baby boy into the world. I had to opportunity to meet Karel just 24 hours after he was born and seeing my friends as parents was quite an amazing experience! How did we get from chatting for hours on end from our dorm-room bunk beds to adulthood, and most importantly, to you becoming parents!? Watching my friends become moms and dads is almost breathtaking and I'm loving the joy these little bundles are bringing to our world!!
