My buddy graduated!

| It was a big day today - my adorable nephew graduated from preschool!! Don't you just love his little cap?? They even had "Pomp and Circumstance" playing - cuteness was just busting at the seams!!

Bryce & Rylan

| "There's a monkey on my head!" That was the line today when photographing my buddies, Bryce and Rylan. :) They thought it was really funny and I was thrilled because I got to capture some GREAT expressions! I have photographed these little guys at least 3 or 4 times in the past and each time is always so much fun!! |

Erin & Brian - Anniversary

| Wow - where to begin!? Today has been AMAZING!! I had the opportunity to spend the morning with two of the most photogenic people I know! I photographed Erin & Brian's wedding last year and was thrilled when Brian contacted me wanting to surprise Erin with an "anniversary" photo shoot. Brian - great job keeping the secret - I think Erin was very surprised! It was so much fun photographing these two again and I really think we spent more time laughing than shooting! :) Brian and Erin - thank you for your friendship and for being your wonderful selves!!
Side note: You will be seeing more of the oh-so-talented Erin (and her photographs) this year! She is the new associate photographer!! Erin - I'm so happy to have you on board and can't wait to work with you again! |

Home Away from Home

| I just returned from my "home away from home" and feel so rejuvenated and ready for the week! My family has a lake cabin up in Northern Minnesota and I'm convinced it's one of the most peaceful places on earth - no neighbors in sight, wildlife galore and most importantly, silence. (Oh yes, and how could I forget, the fishing is outstanding!) Eric and I try to get up to the cabin as often as we can, so if I'm not photographing a wedding, this is where you can find us! :) |
| Turns out photographing a hummingbird is really quite difficult! My new goal is to successfully photograph one in flight this summer. |
| Eric caught the first walleye of the season! I was just a little jealous. :) |
